Aashika Bhatia is an Indian actress who has worked in Hindi Television shows and films. She is very popular on social media and has millions of followers. She played the role of Salman Khan’s sister in “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”.

EARLY LIFE

Aashika was born in an upper-middle-class family on 15 December 1999 in Surat, Gujarat. She was the family’s first child and had one younger brother, Dev Bhatia. Her father, Rakesh Bhatia, has a garments business in Surat and her mother, Meenu Bhatia, has a beauty salon. She did her schooling in Surat, shifted to Mumbai, and further completed her higher studies. From childhood, she wanted to become an actor and was fond of dancing. She started giving auditions at the age of only 9 years.

CAREER

Aashika Bhatia made her debut in the acting field with the popular Hindi TV serial “Meera” in 2009, in which she played the role of young Meera. She impressed everyone with her acting skills. She then got the part of “Ginni” in the Sony Show “Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuch Meethi” (2011). Her position made her gain colossal recognition and fans among the youth. After that, she worked in several Hindi television shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi(2016) and Ek Shringar Swabhiman(2016).

She has also appeared on some episodes of Zee TV’s show “Gumraah”. In 2015 she also made her film debut. She worked in the Hindi movie “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” along with Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. She also featured in various commercials for renowned brands like TVC, Badshah Masala, Clinic Plus, and many others. She has also been featured in many popular music videos like “Rovian Layi” and “Tequila”.
