Joydeep Dutta’s career trajectory exemplifies the transition from navigating employment challenges to establishing a successful entrepreneurial venture. His journey is marked by overcoming numerous rejections and financial obstacles to build Affnosys India, a multi-crore digital marketing and IT solutions company.
Born on March 26, 1991, in Manbazar, West Bengal, Dutta pursued academic qualifications in computer applications, earning a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) in 2011 from Asansol Bidhan Chandra College and a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in 2014. Despite these credentials, Dutta faced significant difficulties in securing employment. He experienced over 50 rejections from potential employers, including a rejection from Capgemini following a 90% score on their off-campus examination, attributed to perceived communication skills deficiencies.

In response to these employment challenges, Dutta explored entrepreneurial avenues in blogging and digital marketing. This phase was characterized by financial instability and operational hurdles. In 2019, he established Affnosys India, initially operating with 131 work-from-home interns. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 resulted in the collapse of his business operations.
In 2023, Dutta re-established Affnosys India in Jamshedpur, implementing a revised business strategy focused on brand management, influencer marketing, e-commerce marketing, and IT solutions. This strategic shift, coupled with sustained effort, facilitated the company’s growth into a multi-crore enterprise employing numerous individuals across India.
Dutta actively engages in campus recruitment drives in Rajasthan, providing employment opportunities and career guidance to students. This initiative reflects his commitment to empowering young professionals and addressing employment challenges.
Dutta’s narrative underscores the importance of resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity. His journey serves as an example of entrepreneurial determination and the potential for individuals to create opportunities in the absence of traditional employment pathways. His engagement in educational outreach further highlights his commitment to skill development and career guidance.
