Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) pioneer Atishi on Saturday made vow as the most youthful and the third lady Boss Clergyman of Delhi during a function at the Raj Niwas.
She was sworn in alongside five other newly appointed ministers: Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain, Kailash Gahlot, and Mukesh Ahlawat, a new MLA for Sultanpur Majra.
Atishi presented a letter stating that she had been elected as the leader of the AAP Legislature Party earlier this week, while Arvind Kejriwal handed over his resignation as CM to Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena.
Following this, Saxena proposed September 21 as the day for holding the CM-assign’s swearing-in service to the President and the Service of Home Undertakings.
As CM, Kejriwal had no portfolio allocated to him. Be that as it may, AAP pioneers said this was probably not going to be the situation with Atishi.
“The top authority has clarified that Atishi needs to zero in on administration. She is expected to keep important portfolios like PWD, education, power, and finance. While Arvind ji will focus in on legislative issues and review campaigns, the new Department has a lot of work to do,” a party boss said.
