Early Life of Zuckerberg

Mark was born in a doctor family, his father Edward Zuckerberg being a dentist and his mother Karen being a psychiatrist. He has three sisters, Randi, a businesswoman, Arielle, and Donna a writer, who are doing great in their domains. All four of them were Jews.

He was a tech-person right from his middle school. In High-school, he founded many applications such as communication applications, and media players, amongst others. In 2002, he got admission to Harvard University where he studied computer sciences and psychology.

In February 2004, when Mark was a student at Harvard, he along with his roommates Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, Chris Hughes, and Andrew McCollum, launched Facebook. The site was originally launched in a confined area of certain specific colleges but eventually, it grew rapidly to have reached one billion users in 2012. He liquidated his shares through IPO, with himself being the largest shareholder of the company. In 2009, he was declared the youngest self-made billionaire, becoming one at the tender age of 23. Currently, the market capitalization is around 400 billion dollars making Mark one of the richest people in the world.
