To pacify the trolls, Tharoor has shared links to YouTube videos in which Nehru is meeting various US presidents. In a 1949 video, then US President Harry S. Truman Truman welcomed Nehru at Airport.
In a 1956 video, the then US Vice President Richard Nixon is welcoming Nehru and his daughter Indira Gandhi to the airport. In the same footage, the then President DD Eisenhower warmly received Nehru at the White House.
The third video clip is from 1961 in which Nehru meeting John F.Kennedy, addressing the Indian community and meeting journalists. Apart from these, Tharoor also posted a photo of the 1949 University of Wisconsin.
