Andheri, Mumbai – In a moving tribute to the nation’s healthcare heroes, the PS Foundation hosted a grand celebration on the occasion of Doctors’ Day, commemorating not just the contribution of doctors but also the successful first anniversary of its flagship initiative, the Chalta Firta Mofat Dawakhana — a free mobile medical service bringing healthcare directly to those in need.
The event opened with a powerful multimedia presentation chronicling the Foundation’s journey over the past year. The audience witnessed an inspiring showcase of various medical and social welfare programs spearheaded by the Foundation, including health camps, surgical support, medicine distribution, and aid for marginalized communities.
One of the evening’s major highlights was a special spotlight on the Chalta Firta Mofat Dawakhana. This innovative mobile ambulance initiative has been a lifeline for countless underprivileged residents across Andheri, offering free medical consultation, treatment, and essential medicines right at their doorsteps. In just a year, the project has positively impacted thousands of lives — especially those who face economic or physical barriers in accessing healthcare.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Founder of PS Foundation, delivered an emotional address:
