Veteran filmmaker SV Rajendra Singh Babu surprised fans on Wednesday by announcing his much-anticipated film Rakta Kashmir. Starring Upendra and Ramya, the film is currently undergoing censorship procedures and is slated for a theatrical release by the end of this month.
A Story Rooted in Patriotism and Real Events
Rakta Kashmir is a story woven around the themes of terrorism and the reclamation of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. The film integrates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s declaration about reclaiming POK as a significant plot twist. Beyond border conflicts, the narrative delves into tackling terrorism within India, including incidents set in Bengaluru.
Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team
The film features a stellar ensemble cast, including Doddanna, Omprakash Rao, Anila, and Kuri Prathap in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Gurukiran, while dialogues are penned by M.S. Ramesh. Produced under the MDM Productions banner, the movie promises to captivate audiences with its intense storyline and gripping performances.
Is ‘Rakta Kashmir’ the Revived ‘Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids’?
Years ago, SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Upendra, and Ramya had teamed up for a project titled Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids. While the songs were released, the movie never made it to the big screen, leading fans to eventually lose hope. With Rakta Kashmir coming to light, speculations arose about it being a revamped version of the earlier project.
However, Rajendra Singh Babu has clarified that Rakta Kashmir is entirely new. “This project is something I’ve been working on for the past two years. It has no connection with Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids and is based on a completely different theme,” he stated.
Release Date Showdown: Rakta Kashmir vs. UI
The makers aim to release Rakta Kashmir on December 20, a date that coincides with the launch of Upendra’s highly anticipated film UI. With two major projects featuring the same actor, the audience is in for a cinematic treat this holiday season.
A Grand Vision by a Veteran Director
SV Rajendra Singh Babu’s return to the silver screen with Rakta Kashmir reflects his penchant for bold storytelling and patriotic themes. Fans eagerly await the film, hoping it will live up to the director’s legacy and the impressive star cast.
