Initially, Hamid focused on creating reels, TikToks, and YouTube vlogs, but he struggled to gain traction. However, his skills were noticed by a relative, who introduced him to small business clients in need of video editing services. Despite working for meager wages, Hamid gained valuable experience and honed his craft.
A turning point came during a family trip to Andaman, when Hamid convinced his parents to buy him a camera. Against their initial resistance, he finally acquired the tool he needed to take his filmmaking aspirations to the next level.
As he delved deeper into the world of filmmaking, Hamid’s talent and dedication paid off. In class 10, he landed his first international client through a connection, earning enough to sustain himself and invest in camera gear.
Life was on an upward trajectory until tragedy struck. The loss of his mother during his 10th ICSE exams shattered Hamid’s motivation, leading to a decline in his work and the loss of international clients. The COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated his challenges.
However, Hamid’s resilience shone through. Inspired by the sight of his dusty camera, he decided to start anew. With renewed determination and a newfound perspective, he began creating content for local influencers and brands in Ranchi.
His unique style and attention to detail quickly caught the attention of renowned event companies. Hamid was entrusted with shooting a music concert featuring a famous Bollywood singer, despite having no prior experience. The video’s success catapulted him into the limelight, and he was inundated with offers from clubs, lounges, and event companies across the region.
In 2021, Hamid founded Genzee Media, a media company offering a wide range of services, including food photography,architectural photography, commercial ad films, aftermovies, brand videos, and more. His company has grown from strength to strength, with Hamid’s expertise and vision driving its success. In Genzee media He gives work to many other freelancers, and Hamid is becoming a job creator in this country where people are trying to find work.
Over the years, Hamid has had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Armaan Malik, Jubin Nautiyal,Darshan Raval, Shirley Setia, Monali Thakur, Gajendra Verma, Prince Narula, Millind Gaba, Guru Randhawa, Papon, Astha Gill, Akhil Sachdeva, Rannvijay, and Lisa Mishra. His work on the King India Tour 2023, spanning four states, further solidified his reputation as a talented and sought-after professional.
