Ever since the report of Justice Hema Committee on Malayalam industry has come out, many actresses are openly talking about sexual assault against them.
Now TV actress Shilpa Shinde has also come forward, she has accused a Hindi filmmaker of sexual exploitation but the actress has not revealed the name of the filmmaker.
Tried to force me on the pretext of audition
In an interview, Shilpa said, this incident happened with me during my struggling days in 1998-99. I cannot take his name but he told me on the pretext of audition, you wear these clothes and do the scene. I did not wear those clothes. In the scene, I was asked to seduce that filmmaker. I was very naive then, so I did that scene. After this, when he started forcing me, I got scared. I pushed him and ran away from there. The security staff understood what had happened to me and advised me to leave as soon as possible. They thought that I would create a ruckus for help.
Without naming the producer, Shilpa said, he is from the Hindi film industry. I agreed to do the scene because he was also an actor. I am not lying but I cannot take his name. His children would be a little younger than me and if I take his name, they will also get into trouble.
Shilpa further said, I met that producer again after a few years and he talked to me nicely. He did not recognize me and even offered me a role in a film but I refused. He still does not recognize me.
Talking about Shilpa Shinde, Shilpa was very much liked in the role of Angoori Bhabhi in the show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai’, she became very famous with this role. Apart from this, she has done many shows like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, ‘Bigg Boss 11’, ‘Maayka’, ‘Chidiyaghar’.
