Pakistan batsman Shan Masood said he was happy that after two weeks of separation in New Zealand would not have to live in a bio-bubble (bio-safe environment) .
Pakistan’s 53-member team completed its separation on Tuesday and now the team players are free to go anywhere in New Zealand. In England the team had to stay in the bio-bubble for six weeks even after separation.
On this tour Pakistan is to participate in the two-match Test series after the three-match T20 series. The visit however seemed to be in a marinate when eight members out of 53-members of Pakistani contingent were found positive in the covid-19 testing and some members were also accused of breaking the rules.
Masood said it was difficult to stay in the hotel but the players knew that after its completion, they would be free to go anywhere in this country.
The Test team opener said We all together decided to deal with this challenge. It is not easy to stay in the hotel room for 14 consecutive days.
