Lockdown announced in Rajasthan 22 to March 31
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced a lockdown to prevent the spread of corona virus in the state. The state will have a lockdown from March 22 to March 31 and will only open essential items like vegetables, dairy and drugstores. While stating that government and private offices, malls, shops, factories and public transport will be closed in the state.
Along with this, the Chief Minister has instructed the poor living in urban areas to provide food packets free of cost for two months from April 1.
He has also announced that families who take wheat under the National Food Security Act should be given free wheat in the month of May.
