The indigenous ‘Astra’ missile, which is air-to-air, is about 3.8 meters long and 7 inches wide. The weight of the missile is 154 kg. This powerful indigenous missile is designed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It is made entirely of indigenous technology.
The specialty of Astra missile is that this missile can attack accurately in any weather. It is capable of accurately attacking enemy up to a maximum distance of 100 km.
