High level meeting is going on at the residence of BJP president JP Nadda. Besides BJP president, union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar are among those who attending the meeting.
Farmers organisations, which have been demonstrating for the last four days on the national capital’s border against agricultural laws, have rejected the centre’s proposal to start talks after the protestors entered the ground at Burri in North Delhi.
“The condition laid down by union Home Minister Amit Shah is not acceptable to us,” said Surjeet S Phool, chairman of Punjab unit of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhakiu). We will not have any conditional dialogue. The Siege will not end.
We will take over all the five routes connecting Delhi.The condition for dialogue is insulting to farmers, “he said. We will never go to Burri.That is not a garden but an open prison.
