David Beckham is an English former Football Player. He was born at Whipps Cross University Hospital in Leytonstone, London, England. In a 2007 interview, Beckham said, “At school whenever the teachers asked, ‘What do you want to do when you’re older?’ I’d say, ‘I want to be a footballer.’ And they’d say, ‘No, what do you really want to do, for a job?’ But that was the only thing I ever wanted to do. In 1992, at the age of 17, he made his first-team debut. He won the Premier League title six times with Manchester United, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. He has played 4 seasons with Real Madrid. In 2007, he signed a five-year contract with Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. He was the first British footballer to play 100 UEFA Champions League games. PHILANTHROPY
In 2005, he became a Goodwill Ambassador with a special focus on UNICEF’s Sports for Development program. In 2015, he launched ‘The David Beckham UNICEF Fund’ to aid and protect children in danger. In 2013, he also donated all his £3.4 million salary from Paris Saint-Germain to two children’s charities in France. He has been assisting the charity ‘Help For Heroes’ for many years directing to help soldiers injured in Iraq and Afghan wars.

David Beckham was born to Sandra Georgina (a hairdresser) and David Edward Alan Ted Beckham (a kitchen fitter). He has 2 sisters. In 1997, he dated Victoria Adams, after she appeared in a Manchester United match. He proposed to her on 24 January 1998 in a restaurant in Cheshunt, England. CONTROVERSY
