The severe cold in the eastern Ladakh sector has forced the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to adopt a rotation policy. Chinese soldiers are not accustomed to the cold of Ladakh, so china is rotating its troops daily on forward positions. Indian soldiers are fully prepared for a long pause at the same place.
Quoting official sources, the news agency said that Indian soldiers at forward location on line of Actual Control (LAC) will be deployed more time on their positions than Chinese army .
According to sources, India has made more preparations than China in terms of weather. A large number of Indian soldiers are already stationed in Ladakh sector including Siachen Glacier and high altitude areas. The impact of winter will be mostly in the important high altitude areas where China has deployed its troops near the Indian position.
