The body of Kumari Ankita, teacher of Central School Bhurkunda, missing for six days, has been found in Barkakana railway Joda pond on Saturday morning. Sensation spread in the area as soon as the teacher’s body was found in a suspicious situation. Hundreds of people got crowded on seeing it. Ramgarh police also reached there and started investigating the body.
The deceased is identified as 25-year-old Kumari Ankita. Ankita’s husband Ved Prakash, a resident of Jehanabad, Bihar, serves as the manager of Oriental Bank of Commerce in Gurgaon. Three days ago, in an application submitted to the police station, Ved Prakash had told that his wife Ankita was staying in a rented house in Friends Colony on Goshala Road in Ramgarh city. Ankita is missing from home since the evening of 7 October. She is employed as a teacher in the central school Bhurkunda. Her mother-in-law was living with her due to poor health of Ankita. Meanwhile, on October 7, her mother-in-law left home for Jehanabad. About an hour after herdeparture, Ankita left the house to somewhere locking in the house.
After several calls from her husband, she did not answer then he called the landlord and the landlord told that Ankita had left the house at 5 o’clock. The husband reached Ramgarh and informed the police station and broke the lock of the house and got a suicide note written by Ankita from the house. There was no reason for suicide in this. Ankita’s brother Ravi Shankar Kumar and her husband Ved Prakash met SP Prabhat Kumar and gave full information. He assured to complete the entire investigation process.
