Today is 15th August which we celebrate as Independence Day. Today we are celebrating 78th Independence Day but are we free today, can we live with complete freedom. If this is so, then why are the women and girls of our country not safe today, why do they not have the right to live independently, why can they not go out on the streets alone. If so, what form of freedom is this?
limits of barbarity
Both eyes injured, blood oozing from mouth, lips injured, injured face, injured neck, ring finger broken, blood oozing from nails, blood oozing continuously from private parts, broken leg bones, injured stomach. This is the same wound that the Kolkata trainee doctor got. The heart trembles just by hearing about this wound, so imagine what must have happened to the person with whom this incident happened. To save her honour, the victim fought as long as she was breathing. Despite her best efforts to save her honour, the trainee doctor lost both her breath and her senses.
Has God created them also?
Year 2012, Delhi, cold night of 16th December, Nirbhaya case, you all must remember. Even today people get goosebumps thinking about that incident. Almost a decade has passed since that terrible incident but again such an incident has come to light. Is there no humanity left in people? Are animals taking birth on earth in the form of humans? After the Nirbhaya incident, the fear inside the people had not yet ended that the animal born among us in the form of humans has once again put humanity to shame. An incident of rape with a trainee doctor has come to light in a government hospital in West Bengal. The question arises whether the women of our country will never be safe. Will this cruelty, this brutality continue to put humanity to shame?
Will the victim get justice
An incident of rape and murder of a trainee doctor has come to light in the medical college in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. There is anger in the country after this incident came to light. This incident took place in the seminar hall on the fifth floor of the emergency building inside IG Kar Hospital, Kolkata. The strike continues continuously after the incident. Slogans of We Want Justice are being raised continuously and a CBI inquiry into the incident is being demanded. A day after the incident, the police had arrested the accused named Sanjay and claimed to have solved the case, but the anger increased when news of more than one person being involved in the incident came. People are saying that is it possible for a man to commit so much cruelty?
