Sidharth Shukla was an Indian actor, model and host who has appeared in many Hindi television series and movies. He gained popularity after his role in Balika Vadhu. He also won the reality show Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.

Early Life

Sidharth was born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was the youngest child of the family and had two elder sisters. He has done his schooling at St. Xavier’s High School, Mumbai. He has gotten his

bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design. He was very good at sports and had played against AC Milan’ (an Italian football club) under 19. In 2005 he became the first Indian and the first Asian to become the World’s best model held in Turkey. He claimed the title after beating 40 contestants across Asia, Latin America and Europe.

Career

In 2008, he started his acting career in the Television Show “Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.” He also appeared in many Indian shows, such as “Love U Zindagi” and “ Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi”. In 2012, he played the role of district collector in “Balika Vadhu.” His role was loved by everyone, and he gained a tremendous amount of love, recognition and popularity in the nation.

He also received many awards, including the “GR8! Performer of the Year (Male)” award at the Indian Television Academy (ITA) Awards. In 2014, Sidharth made his Bollywood debut in the Dharma Production movie, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” in a supporting role. In 2016 he won the stunt reality show “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7”. He was also the winner of colours famous reality show “Bigg Boss 13” in 2019. He appeared on many television shows. His last appearance was on “Dance deewane 3,” with Shehnaaz Gill as a guest.
