Renowned music composer and singer Priyanath Ratnayaka from Sri Lanka recently came to India. He recorded the song for the next project of Bollywood director Dushyant Pratap Singh. In a conversation with the media, Priyanath Ratnayaka told that the music of India is very famous in Sri Lanka. Many musical artists from Sri Lanka are learning music in India, and working for Indian cinema.
In a conversation with Media Hindustan, Priyanath Ratnayaka told that he has come to India even before this. During this he met famous singer of India Sonu Nigam & Kumar Sanu etc. He told that he was very happy when director Dushyant Pratap Singh called him to India for his next project. Priyanath told that he gets full love and respect from India.
Want to promote Sri Lankan music in India
Priyanath Ratnayaka told that Bollywood industry is very famous all over the world. That’s why he wants to promote Sri Lankan music in India. He told that many musical artists of Sri Lanka are adept in the art of music. Sri Lanka’s cinema industry is currently in a limited circle, if it is supported by Bollywood, then Sri Lankan music can make its name in the whole world.
Music has no language
In a conversation with the media, he told that music is a language in itself. That’s why music is free from the bondage of any language. The melodious music heard in the ears is the definition of music. Recently, Sri Lanka’s singer Singer Yohani’s viral song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ is an example of this.
