Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera (Gurmeet Singh) told that Shera started working for Salman on the request of Sohail Khan. Shera has been handling Salman’s security for the last 29 years.
In an interview, Shera said, ‘No one else can manage Bhai (Salman Khan) so well except me. He changes many bodyguards, but I have been with him for so many years.’
Shera further told, ‘My first meeting with Salman Khan was through Sohail Khan during a show. Sohail wanted security for him because there was some problem in a stage show. At that time I used to wear a turban. When Sohail Bhai saw me, he said – why don’t you stay with Salman Bhai?
On hearing this, I agreed. Initially I was with Bhai only during the show. Then gradually I got attached to Bhai and that relationship continues till today. Our bond is very strong. I am a Sardar and he is a Pathan and our pairing just clicks with everyone. I have told Bhai- I will serve you as long as I am there.’
