Recently, Aamir Khan had appeared on actress Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, where he talked about the bad behavior with Rhea after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
On which he expressed his displeasure while supporting Rhea, Aamir Khan said that our life is like a feather, a gust of wind comes and the feather flies away. The same thing happened to you. Your life was going well, but an accident happened in your life, due to which your life turned upside down. Suddenly everyone in the whole world felt that you are a villain. What does a common man know about Rhea. People have been told one thing, which is not true. But those people think that it is the truth and they believe it.
Further Aamir Khan says: I do not want to blame people, but the media should not have done so much, they did too much. Told too many lies, said a lot of absurd things.
Listening to Aamir, Rhea says: This was also one of the reasons for me to start this podcast. After that incident, I tried to give interviews many times, but I did not feel comfortable. Recently I went to a podcast of a big podcaster. He had assured me to come and talk like friends, I will not treat you like a journalist, I am a podcaster. But he did even worse to me, so I did not let that podcast be released. At least I know how the traditional media will do it, so I will take my guards with me. That day I decided that I have to create a safe space, where I have to talk to people.
On Rhea’s words, Aamir says, even today people look at you with a wrong eye, because they have been misinformed. I hope that gradually they also understand your truth.
Further, Rhea thanks Aamir and says, in my healing journey, you have been the best person I have known. You showed me a documentary, which you produced yourself. I used to be very angry when all this happened. I used to wonder why this drama is happening to me only. Then one day you told me to sit and watch this documentary, its name is ‘Rubaru Roshni’ . That documentary film is about forgiving people. Not immediately, but later I realized that one should forgive oneself and everyone.

While talking to Rhea Chakraborty, Aamir Khan also talked about his film career and taking a break from films. Aamir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha flopped, after which he took a break from films. Aamir also told that he had decided to quit films during the Covid pandemic, because he now wants to give his time to his family. But now Aamir Khan is going to return with “Sitaare Zameen Par” after a long break.
